Behind the Scenes At Revolution Dating!

Check us out in the Palm Beach Gardens Lifestyle Magazine! We have been featured once again as the ultimate destination for Florida singles. Get a sneak peek of the behind the scenes action… and some insight into all that goes into planning and executing our amazing events for our fabulous clients!

Red carpet? Check. Red velvet ropes? Got ‘em. Red party favors and red roses? NO Revolution Dating gathering could go on without either!

Red lipstick? Yep. Kelly Leary, founder and president of the Palm Beach Gardens-based matchmaking service, avidly applies it prior to stepping out at the company’s latest and greatest mixer.

“We set the stage,” said Leary, donning a beautifully bejeweled corset, black harem pants and serious high heels for a happy- hour celebration.

She and her talented team of modern-day cupids all dress the part in an effort to pump love into the air for their clients to inhale.

“We play together,” Leary said of Rachel McKee, vice president, Jessica Hackett, premiere matchmaker, Jeannie Handy, director of new-enrollment screening, Heather Graham, director of events and social media, and Alex Schnetzer, matchmaking and recruiting specialist. “All that love spills onto the clients at these events.”

The recent celebration took place at Rocco’s Tacos and Tequila Bar, a restaurant in PGA Commons directly below Revolution Dating’s chic headquarters. The outdoor scene featured a VIP photo-opportunity area, Mexican-inspired food and drinks, male and female mingling and the debut of Revolution Dating’s newly installed signage, marking a major milestone in the matchmaker’s 24-year history.

“This new landmark symbolizes our proud presence in Palm Beach County, and we can’t wait to bring romance and kinship to even more quality singles in Florida,” Leary said. “In my 24 years in the industry, I have never seen so many people rally around to support my high- er purpose, which is community love and togetherness.”

Since relocating her practice to PGA Commons in early 2014, Kelly Leary has seen unprecedented growth, attracting those searching for a soulmate from Palm Beach County, Broward County and along the Treasure Coast. The well-established company scientificallyspecializes in sparking relationships through a customized regimen that puts its clients in the spotlight and on a pedestal. All members – called “revolutionaries” – undergo a thorough screening process that includes detailed back- ground checks and accurate personality profiles.

“In a world where half of the adult population is single, divorced or widowed, let us be grateful for a service like this,” Leary said. “All of the good ones are not taken – they are right in your backyard.”

Armed with a master’s degree in clinical psychology and accoutered with champagne and chocolate, she has perfected the art of piercing the heart.
“Revolution Dating is an experience,” Leary said. “It’s not just about finding a date. I’ve seen a lot in my day, and seeing the revolution surpass my dreams is evidence that all you need is love.”Everything from clever cocktail par- ties and lavish luaus to platonic paddle- boarding outings and strategic speed- dating sessions give clients a friendly and fun environment in which to socialize with select singles. Each event has a flow and format designed to complement romantic connections.

“It’s just a really relaxed kind of ambience we try to bring to them,” said Schnetzer, the newest romantic recruited by Revolution Dating. “The team takes a personal interest in helping people mingle without that pressure.”

During speed-dating sessions, clients sit at assigned tables and rotate around the room after briefly interacting with the individual across from them. Different age groups – they range from early 20s to late 70s – are placed in separate areas within the venue to even the proverbial playing field.

“It’s fun,” Schnetzer said. “By starting that initial conversation, they have made a connection and can follow through.”

Revolution Dating also offers studio- quality photos – made better by a hair and makeup artist and an image consultant – assistance writing personal introductions, and “Mini-Dating Mixers” to help break the ice. Privacy and professionalism encompass every step of the process.

“We don’t want to put someone in an un- comfortable position, because it is sensitive,” Schnetzer said.

Palm Beach County Clerk & Comptroller Sharon Bock can attest to Revolution Dating’s client confidentiality. The elected official attended a recent speed-dating session.

“Kelly set it up so well,” Bock said. “I didn’t really know what to expect, but it ended up being just plain interesting.”

The two have since become friends.

“I find her to be a person who really has the ability to connect other people,” Bock said. “I’m single. I know.”

Paul Egan joined Revolution Dating in an effort to find a “good partner.” The agricultural-industry expert met Bock and the pair instantly hit it off.

“Kelly sees a need for people to have a chance to meet other people of a like mindset,” Egan said. “Her business mod- el and what she has going on – it’s a great thing.” PBG
