Lets talk about GRATITUDE (a topic for all seasons).
I’d like to start by thanking you for reading, admiring, and sharing this column with your family, co-workers, & friends. I would also like to thank our clients who trust us with their love life. Our revolution of love is spreading like wild fire and my heart is filled with gratitude and nostalgia. I’m so touched and grateful.
I’m grateful for the diversity in this club…from Young Professionals to Senior Citizens. I enjoy meeting so many fascinating individuals in my office daily: C.E.O.s, Entrepreneurs, Teachers, Doctors, Builders, Lawyers, Engineers, etc.. I believe in the reciprocity of all relationships and I’m grateful that I also learn from my clients, especially the Business Leaders and Parents who have raised children to become happy adults. My GREATEST joy is working with the seniors because they are often widows or widowers and don’t expect to find love again. When I introduce two seniors to one another, and they “fall’ for each other, I am giving them back something that was taken away from them…Joy. Please see the couple below, standing near the Ferrari (she is a lucky lady isn’t she?). Not only did Lois (joined 4/2014) find romance with Bob (joined 6/2014) at my club, they are head over heels and they are spending the holidays together!!! They are one of our many new Summer of Love 2014 couples. Relationships can move at revolutionary speed at this club.

Today I will show you how to find your own Holiday Love too!
1. “Fish” in well stocked waters; not the swamp, and not the junk yard. If you are going to buy a new outfit for an important night, would you go to the flea market or would you go to Bloomingdales, Macy’s, or Saks? (Obviously, Revolution Dating attracts the best of the best, so this is the easy part). This should be the basis of dating…i.e. Dating 101. If you look in a bar or online, or leave it to chance where winning resembles Las Vegas Casinos, you are putting yourself in danger financially, emotionally, and physically. Half the dating problem is solved if you look in the right spots!
2. Once you find a great person to date, be at your best and learn about him or her. COMMUNICATION IS KEY TO ANY HAPPY RELATIONSHIP. Find out early on if your communication styles are compatible. My clients often ask me for tips on what to say on a first date, and we love to help…Just Ask!
3. BE FUN!! Bob fell for Lois because she was “fun, happy, cheery, full of life”. Who wants to be around a grouch? Is whining sexy? Is constant drama and complaining good? I think not. If this is you, please, don’t visit the revolution. No one wants to date you (yet). Do some soul searching, take a yoga class, read a book. Go for a walk in nature. Just don’t expect to find a good catch, with a bad attitude. Remember: Attitude of Gratitude!
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because it reminds everyone to give thanks. Ungratefulness is about as “unsexy” as you can get, so don’t be the Grinch that stole happiness this Holiday Season. Showing gratitude and giving thanks to your date, your family, your co-workers or anyone in your life is a powerful way to live. The world will give you more to be grateful for and doors will open that were once closed. This is your life and you are the designer.
Be thankful at this moment. Make it a point to start and end your day with giving thanks. Your life will change–and no matter how young or old you are–you can REVOLUTIONIZE your life. The future you, will thank you later!
