In Kelly Leary’s world, there is someone for everyone, and she’s been introducing singles to one another since 1991. With a master’s degree in clinical psychology and an effervescent personality to match her academic credentials and prior successes in bringing people together, Leary can justifiably lay claim to the seriousness of her work as the owner of Revolution Dating. Rather than, as she explains, “Online dating, which is like Las Vegas dating where you win big or lose big, we’re changing the way we find love, one date at a time.”
The je ne sais quoi that Leary, her equally ebullient staff and Revolution Dating embody is evident before you cross the threshold of her suite at PGA Commons. Revolution Dating is not a series of squirreled away offices; its thriving location flows naturally within the vibrant social hub of Palm Beach Gardens. It isn’t hidden away, afraid to make itself known. And upon crossing the threshold, that je ne sais quoi sings out to you. “Would you like to meet our newest client? Stan, would you like to talk to Lee? He is a reporter for PBG Lifestyle Magazine.”
For a moment I blushed, as I do, when I feel embarrassed for a struggling game show contestant. Then I quickly realized, this is Kelly Leary; this is Revolution Dating. Stan is happy to chat with me.
“It’s a new chapter in my life. I investigated several dating services. They (Revolution Dating) are very legitimate, they’re exciting, they’re truthful, sincere and honest,” said Stan Becker, who resides in West Palm Beach. “They have the connections and good relationships with their other clients and they are sincere and intelligent.”
Kelly Leary will readily tell you that Revolution Dating is not the cheapest service in town and there are different levels of membership to choose. She and her staff are equally meticulous in suggesting matches for clients as they are when organizing parties or kayaking and paddleboard excursions. Clients and friends gather for Revolution Dating parties and are distinguished with a name tag that reads, “Single or Taken.”
